This slide show will display 300 x 201 sized versions of the 461 images included in our Grand Canyon Visions disk. The images on the disk are generally high quality images at 1024 x 685, 72 dpi resolution.

In addition to stock photo uses, for non-commercial use we make available a choice of low-cost disks (resolution generally 1024 x 685, 72 dpi) for use on personal computers as slide show screensavers and as wallpaper images. Our collections highlight vistas at multiple seasons and varying times of day and light. Please note that from time to time we will update our screensaver disk contents. In addition, we will be introducing new collections periodically.

Disk Contents:

The first disk (Sedona Visions) is a stunning collection of 794 images of Sedona & the Oak Creek Canyon for your Sedona screensaver and Sedona Wallpaper. The disk contains the majority the images found in the Sedona Stock Photo Image section of this site as well as a number that are not displayed here. The Sedona Visions disk includes:

• cacti and other pictures from the Desert Museum in Tuscon
• Images of Montezuma’s castle
• a variety of other Arizona images from rattlesnakes to hummingbirds

• pictures of Teacup Trail
• pictures of Palatki
• Additional images of a waxing gibeous moonrise over Sedona
• new perspectives on some rocks and

Screensaver Software:

You might wonder: Why don't we include screensaver software with our collections? Windows operating systems commonly in use include screensaver modules that will display pictures. (e.g. Windows XP includes 'Photos' and Windows Live Photo Gallery.' Previous Windows versions also included a slide show type screensaver.) All the user needs to do is copy the image files to a directory on the hard drive and configure the settings of the screensaver module to point to that directory. If the features of these are not to your liking, nicely featured slide show screensaver modules are available for various operating systems for under $15, some even as freeware, on the Internet. Therefore we focus on quality images, not software. An additional complication is that slide show screensavers that work on Windows XP might or might not work on Windows Vista and vice versa, so if you choose to download screensaver software, make sure you obtain one for your operating system.

Coming summer/fall 2009 will be our Ultimate Grand Canyon disk, which will include the North Rim. We will release additional Southwest US landscape photo disks periodically, so check back.
