Photo ID: GCSnow2947.jpg   This snowy view from Powell Memorial (6,900 ft high) on the South Rim is of the Temple of Osiris which is the pointy tan mountain top below the horizon in the center. Below Osiris, the snow-covered short ridge is the Tower of Set (6,026 ft high). Above Osiris, follow the ridge up to the horizon to Grama Point. The second ridge to the left, starting at the left edge of Osiris, at its highest point is called Confucius Temple (7,081 ft high). The next ridge to the left, follow the tan ridge line up to the horizon to reach Point Sublime (7,459 ft high). Follow this ridge down to the small square box which is called the Temple of Ra (6,078 ft high). The white rock in the foreground is Kaibab Formation from 270 million years ago. It is the top rock layer that all visitors walk on at the South Rim.
