About our images:
Without doubt, the vistas in Sedona and the Oak Creek Canyon are among the most beautiful to be found and have inspired photographers from around the world. All of our images have been taken digitally and have been preserved as actually seen with the naked eye. We do not push the saturation or colors to artificially create the bright colors often seen in available Red Rock depictions.
Our mugs display composite photographs that wrap around the mugs, in most cases featuring panoramic vistas. Our intent is to feature the images, so frames, borders and text are kept to a minimum.
In contrast to our mugs, our stock photo images, posters and prints feature unretouched photographs, not composites. Our large posters are high quality and are suitable for framing. While many feature Red Rocks, others feature creeks, wooded areas and canyons, such as are found in the West Fork and Grasshopper Point State Parks.
With the exception of Bell Rock, Snoopy Rock, Cathedral Rocks, and a few others, we have found that sources often differ in the names they assign to various rocks. If we've used a name other than what you've heard for a given rock, chalk it up to these inconsistencies.
Thank you for visiting our site. We hope that you enjoy your visit.
About our photographer:
Our contributing photographer, Victor Cariri, first visited Sedona in 1987 and
has been inspired by Arizona vistas such as Sedona and the
Grand
Canyon
since
that time. More
recently living in the area has facilitated the capture of
thousands of photographs of the Sedona area and other scenic
Arizona locales. It is from these
many thousands of images that we have selected those to feature
on the various products of Sedona Mugs and Gifts.

Two observations:
The overwhelming majority of those who frequent the state and federal parks
of the southwest (both locals and visitors) show consideration for fellow
visitors and for the nature that surrounds them. Unfortunately though, there
are a few who don't.
Consider these four photographers:

The hikers on the left were just passing through, but what about the four photographers
who established positions in the creek mid-afternoon, and then stayed unmoving
until sunset? This affected every other visitor who wished to take a picture.
Perhaps even worse: they completely missed the reflection pools, which have
to be considered the "money
shots."
A (relative few) don't seem to show
the respect we'd like to see for nature. Consider this aspiring
rock climber's remnants:

The hiking trail at Grasshopper Point runs right alongside beautiful rock formations,
maybe 10 or 12 feet high. So why would someone hammer these hangers into the
rock? Thankfully, almost all visitors show what we would view as an appropriate
respect for nature. (Note: there are places for rock climbing, this just isn't
one of them.)
